Questions
My inverter is showing an error code. What should I do?
Write down the code and what the display or app says, take a photo if you can, and call us on 01492 550 086. Some codes clear on their own after a grid disturbance; others mean a fault that needs a visit. Don't open the inverter case: it carries high DC voltage even when the grid is off.
Is it better to repair or replace an inverter?
It depends on the make, the age and the fault. Some faults can be repaired; for older inverters a replacement is often better value. We explain both options and the cost before any work starts.
Is my inverter still under warranty?
Many inverters carry a manufacturer warranty that lasts beyond the installer's own guarantee, even if the installer has gone. We can help you check.
