What we collect

When you call, email or use our enquiry form we collect your name, phone number, postcode, address (if we visit), email address (if you email us) and what you tell us about your solar system.

Why we use it

To reply to your enquiry, arrange and carry out visits and repairs, send quotes and invoices, and keep records of work done. Our lawful bases are taking steps at your request before a contract, performing the contract, our legal obligations (for example tax records) and our legitimate interest in running the business.

Website analytics and advertising

Our website uses Google Analytics and Google Ads tags to measure visits and which adverts lead to calls. These use cookies and similar technology. You can block them in your browser settings.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your information. We share it only where needed: with manufacturers or suppliers for warranty claims on your equipment, our accountants, and IT and email providers who store data for us.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that don't lead to work are deleted within 12 months. Customer and job records are kept for six years after the work for tax and warranty purposes.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your information, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. Contact us using the details above. If you're unhappy, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk, 0303 123 1113).
