Questions
Can I add a battery to my existing solar panels?
In most cases, yes. A battery can be added to an existing system either alongside your current inverter (AC-coupled) or by replacing the inverter with a hybrid one. We check which suits your system on the free home visit.
Will adding a battery affect my Feed-in Tariff?
A correctly fitted battery shouldn't stop your Feed-in Tariff generation payments, but the way it is connected and metered matters. We explain this for your system before any work starts and can advise on telling your FiT supplier.
What size battery do I need?
It depends on how much your panels generate and when you use electricity. We look at both and suggest a size that makes sense, rather than the biggest one.
Do you repair batteries too?
Yes. We repair all makes, including Tesla Powerwall, GivEnergy, Pylontech, Alpha ESS, SolaX, Fox ESS, Huawei LUNA and SolarEdge batteries.
